Operational Details

         My Academy Preschool operates from 7:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M every weekday. A surcharge of $1.00 will be applied for every minute a parent or guardian is late to pick up their child. Time is an important aspect in children’s growth/development. With this being said, it is important for children to be on time to school each day.

         Students are required to arrive at school in their set uniforms. For more information on uniforms and how to obtain one, please contact our office. 

          Per state licensing regulation, children will NOT be allowed to wear OPEN-TOE SHOES, no exceptions. Slip on sandals, fancy shoes and all other shoes that may cause your child to fall will be prohibited on school campus. If the child comes to school with inappropriate shoes, they will be sent home.

         Enrolled children should bring their own bedding and extra clothes such as underwear and clothing. Bedding will be returned home at the end of every week so it is washed and returned on the first day of school in the following week.

Prior to bringing extra belongings, please label the bag ( plastic zippered) you are bringing in. My Academy Preschool is not responsible for any lost clothing or items. 

        TOYS: Please do not allow your child to bring toys to school. No sharp objects (knives, swords, etc.) or play weapons (pretend guns, etc.) will be allowed at school, no exceptions.

         Please notify our office as soon as possible if your child is late or absent. School doors close strictly at 10:00am. 

According to state licensing, parents are responsible for signing in/out on the provided attendance sheet at the time of their child's entrance and exit. Under no circumstances will a child be released to a person who is not listed on the Child Release Form in the application packet without written authorization from the parent/guardian. If a change in permanent child pick-up needs to be made, please notify our office immediately. The persons who have your authorization to pick-up your child on the Child Release Form in application packet must be 18 years of age or older and have proper picture identification. You must give us a 2 week notice to terminate child care services.

My Academy Preschool reserves the right to enroll/dis-enroll any student at its sole discretion. Contracts with My Academy Preschool may be terminated in any of the following circumstances:

1. The child’s parent or guardian fails to abide by the provisions of the Handbook, the School's agreement and/or contract.
2. The child’s parent or guardian disrupts the smooth and efficient operation of the program and/or compromises the health and safety of children or staff.
3. My Academy Preschool is unable to meet the physical, social/emotional and developmental needs of the child.
4. The registered child compromises the health and safety of children, staff or himself.
5. Other reasons determined by My Academy Preschool at their sole discretion.
